The first few days were predominantly spent 'acclimatising' to our new surroundings. It was lovely to be embraced by the sun and the Jamaican landscape is breathtaking. We visited Ocho Rios and the infamous Dunns River Falls, as well as beaches in Negril and Montego Bay. Nevertheless, the stark contrast between rich, poor, the privileged and the forgotten, constantly reminded us of how spoiled we really are.
